Neverness to Everness

Neverness to Everness is an urban open-world RPG built around Hethereau, anomaly investigations, a companion cast, driving, and online features. Its Steam arrival gives PC players a familiar installation route, but the important decision comes after the download: which account will own your progress?

Steam’s store page identifies NTE as free to play and lists online interactivity, in-game purchases, and chance-based purchases. That makes an accidental fresh profile more than a minor inconvenience. If you already play through another supported platform, establish which NTE account holds your character before choosing a login method in the Steam client. The official Steam announcement says Steam account login and linking are supported through the Steam game client.

The design makes Steam convenient for players who want library management, updates, and play-time tracking in one place. It does not remove the need to treat account selection carefully. A reliable first session is simple: launch through Steam, read the account screen before accepting, use the login route associated with your existing character if you have one, then confirm your server and character name before playing.

This is not a scored review or a hands-on performance test. It is a first-look assessment of the onboarding experience: NTE has an appealing PC route, but its account choices deserve the same attention as character creation.
